Your group appears � have <br />put a great amount of effort in to proceedings to date. <br />Recently, representatives of the cities of Orcno, Long Lake, <br />Independence and Maple Plain met to discuss the activities sur- <br />rounding Highway 12 and we want to invite your task force to make <br />a presentation to our collective cities regarding th? highway. <br />Our mileage probably represents one of the more difficult por- <br />tions of 12 from the planning standpoint and teei that it is in <br />our highest interest to help promote a dialog about how each of <br />our needs fits into the future highway development. <br />On behalf of our cities, I am asking that Monday, April 20, <br />7:30 p.•,i. be set as a time for a meeting at the Maple Plain City <br />Hall. The councils and planning commissions of Orono, Medina, <br />Long Lake, Independence and Maple Plain will be invited to at- <br />tend. <br />Please let me know if this is acceptable and if there would <br />be any special equipment or accommodations necessary.
