�odn <br />DATE: January 29, 1987 _ J 1987 <br />TO: Cooperating Units <br />HENNEPIN Urban Hennepin County CDBG program <br />FROM: Hennepin County Office of Planning and Deveivpnint <br />LFUSUBJECT: YEAR XIII URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY CDUG PROGRAM <br />The accompanying material is transmitted to help in initiating the process <br />of developing the Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds for the <br />Year XIII Urban Hennepin County CDBG program. It consists of: <br />1. The Citizens Advisory Committee endorsed Statement of Objectives. <br />2. The Request for Funding project proposal form. <br />3. The planning allocation amount for each participant from the Year XIII <br />entitlement. <br />4. Schedule of events leading up to transmittal of the Statement to HUD. <br />S. A sample notice of public hearing. <br />The Statement of Objectives evolved from the work of the Future Directions <br />Task Force made up of representative participants and the Citizens Advisory <br />Committee. The CAC has endorsed the Statement and has requested action by <br />the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners to adopt it. The Statement is <br />scheduled for consideration before the Ways and Means Committee on Thursday, <br />February 5. 1987 and for action by the Board on Monday, February 9, 1987. <br />Both meeti,,gs are at 10 a.m. in the Board Room r 7400 Administration Tower, <br />Goverment Center. <br />The planning allocation assumes that the proposed recision in CDBG funding <br />will not occur and therefore represents the maximum grant to be expected. <br />Please address any questions concerning the Statement of Objectives or the <br />program development process to your program representative. <br />RI:tf <br />Enclosures <br />cc: Bill Gra savage, GUD <br />
