In tkAz review, the <br />applicant, Smith Bay Marina, was advised to apply for a for--' onditional <br />use permit, per the directive of Resolution No. 961 (Iv, 6) :.t use would <br />have to be found "less" non -conforming to be approved. The Planning <br />Commission asked that a comprehensive plan of the marina operation be <br />submitted along with the site plan for 1960 Shoreline Live so that the use <br />patterns or use interactions can be evaluated. <br />Please remembe, this sh-deed review d,^ali only with the proposed use of <br />1960 Shoreline Drive (the _ or outlino,: area on plat map - Exhibit C). <br />Smith Bay Marina plans to file variances and a commercial site plan <br />application fur the April meeting to review their plans for a new building <br />on the commercial dock portion of their property (South of County Road 15). <br />Review the cnclosed newspaper article that discusses proposed improvements <br />of the property (Exhibit L). <br />The comprehensive plan does not designate a use for the wain marina <br />property but Mr. Love advises that all existing building will be rased and <br />a single club house structure erected. The facility will be operated as a <br />private club for sailboat owners.
