<br />thing i was, since the kitchen served
<br />a day — poached, baked,
<br />arbecued. grilled, 'burgered, frit-
<br />tered and fried.
<br />We left Turkana pleased. although
<br />we had missed recording our catch in
<br />the club's over-100-pound registry.
<br />However. Mike Prcttejohn, at whose
<br />picture -book. 6000-acre cattle ranch
<br />we were to stay a few days later, did
<br />bring in :a 117-pound perch, the first
<br />of that sic for over a year.
<br />Prcttejohn offered to take us trout
<br />fishing 10.000 feet up in the Aberdare
<br />mountains. but we were saving our.
