This corner, including the <br />Tonka Transmission parcel, which apparently is also part of this <br />transaction, is obviously a difficult one from the City's <br />perspective. The present uses are less than desirable, but of a <br />non -conforming nature. Any permitted use, such as residential <br />housing, is unlikely to be built due to the presence of Sailor's <br />World across the street. Hence, the proposal may have some merit <br />to it. <br />I would suggest that you, Jean, Tom Barrett, and I consider <br />the various ramifications of the proposal befor- presenting it to <br />the council for their consideration.
