AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: February 23, 2026 <br />Title: Maintenance Quote - Video Inspection of Sanitary Sewer System <br />Presenter: Jimmy Nelson <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Item: 10 <br />Purpose: <br />To conduct sanitary sewer televising to assess pipe condition, identify defects, and support <br />proactive maintenance and capital planning. <br />2. Background: <br />As part of the preventative maintenance program, the city tries to clean and inspect 20% of the <br />sanitary sewer system annually. The cleaning is completed by Public Works employees. The <br />inspection consists of televising the sewers after they are cleaned. The inspections are used to <br />inform future sewer maintenance. The sanitary sewer inspection project will consist of televising <br />approximately 55,600 lineal feet of sanitary sewer pipe. <br />3. Summary: <br />Sanitary sewer televising is a preventative maintenance activity used to evaluate the condition of <br />sewer mains and identify needed repairs. The inspection results will help staff prioritize <br />maintenance and future capital improvements. <br />4.
