We are lakeshore owners on Forest Lake Bay in the same neighborhood
as the
Rasmussens at 1186 Wildhurst Trail and the Roaths at 1200 Wildhurst Trail .
My wife and I attended the Planning Council on August 18, 2025. We didn't speak up
at the
time and wish we had. As we listened to the council's commentary regarding the CUP
application by the Roaths and the various issues regarding the blatant violations of
codes
on the retaining walls, deck set back, utility shed construction, property lines, etc., we
couldn't understand the reluctance to enforce the rules.
To grant a CUP to someone that has multiple issues that are clearly in violation of
these
rules; let alone doing it on property that isn't even theirs, is wrong.
A concerned neighbor
Sanford Erikson
4455 Forest Lake Landing
Mound, Mn 55364
952-472-7637
140
