RE: Item 16
Public Comment for
From: sandy.rasmussen( frontiernet.net LA25-000036
To: Melanie Curtis
Cc: Brian Rasmussen
Subject: LA25-000036 Public Comment
Date: Saturday,February 21,2026 8:36:09 PM
Ms. Curtis,
In regards to LA25-000036,my husband Brian and I support rejection of the Roath's after
the fact permit request.
Our absence at the City Council meeting is not an indication that we have lost interest in
the matter. For the record we are away and cannot attend.
Furthermore we would like the record to reflect there has been no effort on the part of the
Roath's to contact us concerning any plan to rectify the non conforming items that are the
subject of the after the fact permit request, and impacting our adjacent property.
Removal of the three non conforming improvements on the Roath's property is essential to:
1. Protect the Minnetonka Lake Shore
2. Protect our property from further erosion, and loss of market value, and
3. Restore the unobstructed view of Lake Minnetonka from our home and the adjacent
neighbors, as well as any future owners of these properties.
We trust the City Council will act affirmatively on staff recommendations, further
prompting removal of the illegal improvements.
Sandy and Brian Rasmussen
