VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />UBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />Struve oted road restrictions are in effect. The majority of the residential roads are posted our tons <br />with the e tion of some truck designated routes , which are posted at seven tons. All c nty roads are <br />posted at nine <br />Struve reported the Pu · c Works Department will be working with STS to rem <br />golf course. The work wi ommence sometime after April 1. <br />Struve stated in conjunction with painting of the City's water towe a 100-foot pole will be erected <br />temporarily near the tower to accomm ate Sprint's cell phone equ · ent. After the water tower is <br />painted, Sprint will have 45 days to remo the temporary pole replace their equipment on the tower . <br />*8. APPOINTMENT OF 2014 GOLF CO <br />Levang moved, Bremer seconded, to approve the · 0 of the 2014 seasonal employees outlined in <br />Staff's memorandum dated March 24, 2014, un r the licable provisions of the PERA rules. <br />VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br />Levang reported the Mayor, the City ecial AIS meeting with <br />Gabriel Jabbour and other individ s. Levang stated the meeting was very iri ative on all the <br />different methods and partners · s they have formed to tackle the AIS issue. Lev g suggested Mr. <br />Jabbour be invited to attend ture City Council meeting to provide an update on t steps being <br />undertaken on the AIS pro em. <br />McMillan stated a p s person from Colorado was also in attendance at the AIS meeting an <br />ct their mandatory inspections , which was very interesting. <br />Page 22 o f 24
