PROGRAM � <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation; and <br /> � ` WHEREAS,the City does take the opportunity to recognize employees for their <br /> outstanding contributions; and <br /> WHEREAS,Mike Carlson promoted "D.A.R.E." through the showing of his <br /> personal race car; and . <br /> WHEREAS, Mike Carlson volunteered his time and resources to the "D.A.R.E." <br /> program; and <br /> _ . _-_ _ ... _ . <br /> � WHEREAS,Mike Carlson�has continuously demonstrated a responsiveness to <br /> the community through drug awareness education; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mike Carlson has received many commendations and recognition <br /> through letters of support from citizens. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council <br /> recognizes Mike Carlson for his outstanding service to the City and its citizens by this resolution. <br /> � Adopted by the Orono City Council on this 23rd day of November , 1998. <br /> ��_� <br /> ATTEST: Gabri 1 Jabbour, Mayor. <br /> _ � ��� <br /> Linda S.
