MN§15.99 Application Deadline: <br />The application was made on January 20, 2026 and deemed complete on January 26, 2026. The <br />60-day review period expires on March 27, 2026. <br />3. Background: <br />The applicant proposes a new single-family home, in place of a house that was demolished in <br />2024. The property is approximately fourteen (14) acres in size, however, much of the property <br />contains wetlands and is bisected by the ordinary high water level, 929.4 (OHWL), of Lake <br />Minnetonka, making this a lakeshore lot. A conforming building envelope exists near Brown Road <br />South but is limited by the average lakeshore setback. The scale of the applicant's proposed <br />residence is reasonable for the area, but is within the average lakeshore setback, necessitating a <br />variance. <br />4. Public Comment: <br />No public comments have been received. <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />Planning Staff recommends approval as applied. <br />6.
