Shallow trench system on the new primary site. The <br />original site will be retained as an alternate site. <br />2. Proposed Flow Rate. <br />4 bedrooms @ 153 G.P.D. = 600 G.P.D. <br />3. Soil Treatment Area Needed. <br />600 G.P.D. x 1.;i7 factor = 1000 Sq. Ft. <br />4. Size and Nuâ–șaher of Trenches. <br />5 trenches 3 fee: wide and 66.7 feet long = 1000 Sq. Ft. These trenches <br />would be spaced *7.5 feet apart center to center and be about 0.5 feet <br />to 1 foot deep in the natural soil. <br />5. Drainfield Rock Needed. <br />37.0 cubic yards of rock is needed to have 6 inches under and 2 inches over <br />a 4 inch distribution pipe. <br />6. Septic Tanks. <br />Two septic tanks of at least 1000 gallons are needed. In addition, depending <br />on the tank elevations, IL may be necessary for a pump and 500 gallon pump- <br />ing tank to be used. <br />7. Additional Information. <br />All construction and materials must adhere to the provisions of the City of <br />Orono.
