NO. 4. � � � � . � . <br /> A RESOLUTION TO RELEASE TAX FORFEITED <br /> LAND FOR PRIVATE SALE TO ADJACENT OWNERS <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and e�cisting under laws <br /> of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS,the parcel known as PID: 10-117-23 21 0002 and legally described as: <br /> Section 10,Township 117 and Range 23 -That part ofNE 1/4 ofNW � <br /> • 1/4 corresponding to Lot 10,Block 6,Minnetonka View,now vacated <br /> including adjacent 1/2 of street and alley vacated. <br /> became the property of the State of Minnesota.for non-payment of real estate taxes on July 19, 1977, � <br /> and was conveyed to the City of Orono by State Deed No. 161146 on February 8, 1982; and <br /> • WI�REAS,the City has determined the public use for which the parcel was acquired is no � <br /> longer necessary. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono <br /> does hereby authorize the re�onveyance of the parcel listed below to the State of Minnesota, and � <br /> approves the public sale of said pazcel of land to adjacent properiy owners; subject to the placement <br /> of a flowage and conservation easement over the entire parcel, and a drainage and utility easement <br /> over the easterly ten feet of the parcel. The parcel to be sold remains subject to applicable zoning <br /> ordinance provisions,including those regulations providing for minunum lot area and minimum lot <br /> width. Substandard parcels may be usable only in combination with other adjoining parcel(s).
