RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL � <br /> � . . �`9kESH04'� � . . � NO. � � � � . . . . � . . . :�. �� <br /> A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A � <br /> FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF � <br /> , MU1vICIPAL SANITARY SEWER TO SERVE THE <br /> FOX RIDGE AREA � <br /> WHEREAS,the project area.was included in the recent MCTSA expansion for sanitary sewer <br /> services, a neighborhood informational meeting was held to discuss the project, and project area <br /> residents have submitted a letter indicating interest in obtaining sanitary sewer; and <br /> � WHEREAS,the City Engineer has provided preliminary cost estimates for a sanitary sewer .� <br /> extension; however, additional information is needed in order to establish the feasibility of such a <br /> ' ' project; and <br /> _ . WHEREAS, it is proposed that municipal sanitary sewer trunks and/or laterals be � <br /> • constructed to serve the Fox Ridge area and that the benefitted property(s)be assessed for all of the <br /> cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. ' <br /> .NOW,THEREFORE;BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota that <br /> the proposed improvements be referred to the City Engineer for study, and that he is instructed to <br /> report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br /> whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost effective, and feasible and whether it should <br /> best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of <br /> the improvement as recommended. � <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 14th day of June, 1999. � <br /> - .� <br /> .
