Percolation Rate, Type of System. <br />9.5 minutes per inch, Standard System. <br />2. Proposed Flow Rate. <br />600 G.P.D. <br />3. Soil Treatment Area Required. <br />Use 1.67 percolation factor x 600 G.P.D. = 1000 Sq. Ft. <br />4. Size and Number of Trenches. <br />333 lineal feet of trenches 3 feet wide = 1000 Sq. Ft. <br />5. Drainfield Rock Needed. <br />55.6 cubic yds. of rock is needed to have 12 inches under and <br />2 inches over a 4 inch distribution pipe. <br />6. Septic Tanks. <br />Two septic tanks each of 1000 gallons are recommended. It <br />appears that a third pumping tank and pump will not be needed <br />depending on the final elevation of the house. <br />7.
