Mr. Alan P. Olson <br />Page 2 <br />December 6, 1978 <br />CurrenrIv, the platted roads (platted in 1885) are undeveloped <br />and of no apparent benefit to the public. These roadways were <br />originally platted to provide access to lots that have now <br />been declared by the City of Orono to be undevelopable and <br />terminate at the boundaries of the plat. Essentially, the <br />granting of this request for vacation will help further the <br />effort to assemble contiguuus properties into a viable park <br />for the use and enjoyment of the public we serve. <br />I hope this provides sufficient background information with <br />respect to this request for road vacation.
