I hive some reservations on <br />the proposal as Submitted. 7'he elevation of the island at this ;x)int is quite <br />low. The water table quite high. I have some (Ioubts as to whethez the <br />conditions here could support an adequate septic system. <br />The City of Orono wuuld appreciate a soils rap and report on the subject <br />property. 1 hope you have the means of getting to the island to hake tl.e <br />necessary site investigation. <br />If there are any costs to the City, please let me }.now so we can arrange to <br />collect them from tl)e developer. <br />Copies of the section map of this general area on the island and the proposed <br />division are enclosed.
