MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 8, 1966 <br />#1093 P 6 A INVESTMENT CONTINUED <br />City Administrator Bernhardson noted the reason access <br />was proposed to the west i.s due to the existing <br />underlying road and utility casements. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Mayor Butler, to table this matt r until the January 12, <br />1987 Council, for further study by the City Attorney. <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />#1JL%5 CITY OF ORONO* <br />345 BLAINE AVENUE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />RESOLUTION #2103 <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Grabek, to adopt Resolution #2103 granting a conditional <br />use permit to permit the installation of an emergency <br />preparedness siren per Municipal Coning Code Section <br />10.20 Subd. 3(D). Motion, Ayes 5. Nays 0. <br />#1081 GREGORY W. LONG <br />3359 CRYSTAL BAY ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #2104 <br />Greg Long was present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that at the <br />last review, Council requested that staff look at the <br />impact of narrowing the driveway to a width of 16' <br />resulting in a 29.3% hardcover i.r. the 0-75' zone (versus <br />46.3% originally proposed)? and shorten addition 3' <br />leaving a 13' addition resulting in 11' encroachment <br />into 0-75' zone. <br />Councilmember Adams stated that he visited the site and <br />was convinced that aprlicant's proposal was a <br />justifiable request based on the great variation of <br />average setback within the neighborhood. <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Adams, to adopt Resolution #2104 granting the variances <br />per the revised proposal as presented. Motion, Ayes 4, <br />Nays 1.
