Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />August 6, 1986 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />Additional Comments and Planning Commission Recommendation <br />Additional Exhibit <br />i - Blat-z Memo of 7/29/86 <br />The Planning Commission voted 4 to 2 to recommend approval <br />of the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendment based on the <br />findings cited by staff in the first part of this memo. <br />Staff has included a recent memo from Kathleen Blatz <br />advising that since Orono is a statutory City, a two-thirds vote <br />or 4 votes of the Council is required to approve an amendment of <br />the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Council Action: <br />To give staff conceptual direction and request a resolution <br />of denial or approval of the proposed amendment. <br />
