MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIh MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 9, 1987 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT CONT. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, to nominate <br />Jeffrey Johnson to the Planning Commission iJrban <br />designation because of his .,,..:h and current experience <br />w= th the City of Eden Prai rie. Motion seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to nominate Gary Printup (Council <br />candidate) to the Planning Commission Urban designation. <br />Motion, Ayes 2, Nays 2. Mayor Grabek and Councilmember <br />Sime voted nay. Motion fails. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to nominate Curtis Quady to the <br />Planning Commission Urban designation.. Motion, Ayes 2, <br />Nays 2. Mayor Grabek and Councilmember Sime voted nay. <br />Motion fails. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek to nominate Janes C. Berg <br />to the Planning Commission Urban designation. No second <br />to the motion made. Motion fails. <br />Because there were no other nominations at this time, it <br />was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to table the remaining Planning <br />Commission Urban appointment for more consideration <br />and input from Planninq Commission until the February <br />23, 1987 Council meeting. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />PARR COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS - <br />Lee Erger and Bruce Kokal <br />City Administrator Berr.hardson noted that two 3-year <br />term vacancies exist on the Pp.rk Commission. Interested <br />can.iidatE�s are: <br />Lee Erger (Incumbent) <br />Ron Anderson <br />Bruce Kokal <br />Additionally, current Park Commission Chairman Terry <br />Morse should be formally reappointed as chair. <br />It was moved by Councilmember. Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to reappoint Lee Erger to the <br />Park Commission. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to nominate Bruce Kokal to the <br />Park Commission. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sime, to reappoint Terry Morse as the Park Commission <br />Chairman.
