NO. � � � � <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> � VARIANCES TO � <br /> � MiTNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.28, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br /> FILE #2538 <br /> WHEREAS, Robert T. Jaffray and Victoria H. Jaffray (hereinafter� "the <br /> applicants") aze owners of the property located at 540 Barrett Avenue within the City of Orono <br /> � (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, Block 14, Minnetonka Bluffs, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota (hereinafter "the properry"); and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> � Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on October 18, 1999, at which times all�persons desiring <br /> to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 (B) to pernut construction of dormers on the second <br /> story of an existing residence, changing the roof line, located 25' from the front/street lot line <br /> instead of ineeting the required 50' setback. . <br /> � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS � <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2538. � <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B, Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br /> requiring 2 acres in area. The property with combined Lots 19, 20, and 21 and <br /> sepazately owned Lots 15, 16, 17 and 18 consists of .88 acres or 38,700 s.f. <br /> � ` Page 1 of 6 <br />
