RON NcCLOUD
System Design
1. Percolation Rate. Type of System.
14.2 minutes per inch. Shallow Trench System.
2. Proposed Flow Rate.
5 bedrooms 150 G.P.D. is ?50 G.P.D.
3. Soil Treatment Area RLquired.
1.27 percolation factor x 750 G.P.D. is 950 square feet minimum.
4. Size and Number of Trenches.
3 trenches, 3 feet wide and 106 feet long, is 954 square feet.
This might be able to be reduced by the amount of recently con-
structed trenches if runoff water is diverted from them. The
new trenches should be no deeper than 1.5'feet in the natural
soil, unless the water table is lowered.
5. Drainfield Rock.
53 cubic yards of rock is needed for 95.►; square feet to have
1- inches under end 2 inches over a 4 inch distribution pipe.
6. Sertic Tanks.
If the .resent tanks are in good working order, they can be
used. If not 2 tankn each of 1000 gallons #Ul be needed. It
appears a third pumping tank will not be needed.
