FERNDALE <br />I NR6e, MINNESOTA <br />Iv G <br />On ;'al,y 5-7, 190j3 tw rec" n holes, 3 feet deep and 6 inches <br />in diameter, were tested and 2 soil borings were taken according to <br />the provisions of Individual Sewage Treatment Systems Standards <br />(WFC-4c) . <br />The present systeri is behind the house and had some extra trenches <br />added a few years ago. We tested an area to the west of the present <br />system and found the soils to be fairly loose and permeable, but that <br />the water table follows the slope of the hill down through the drain - <br />field, especially to the east. <br />Thus, the runoff water should be diverted from the present site <br />and-part.of the new trenches. It appears that if the rater is diverted, <br />the recentl7 constructed trenches could still be used, with extra <br />trenches being constructed to the west. <br />AdditionLi system design information follows.
