9 <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2561 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />A METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION <br />OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR <br />TIMOTHY D. JOHNSON AND TED Q. FEIG <br />FILE no. 1358 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br />and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted sub- <br />division regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land <br />within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a <br />subdivision by Ted Q. Feig and Timothy D. Johnson (hereinafter "the <br />subdividers") of properties legally described as follows: <br />Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Laurent Addition, Hen-apin County, Minnesota, <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the subdividers have completed all requirements of the <br />City for a metes and bounds subdivision for division and combination <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, approval for this lot line rearrangement was originally <br />granted by the City Council on July 27, 1987 per Resolution No. 2232. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division of a lot line <br />rearrangement for Ted Q. Feig and Timothy D. Johnson as shown on the <br />Certificate of Survey by Egan Field and Nowak, Inc., dated October 2, 1985 <br />and attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, subject to the following <br />condition: <br />1. ipon approval of this subdivision by the City Council of Orono, <br />the owner of Parcel A, as described in the Certificate of Survey <br />ref:renced above, must apply to the City for legal combination for tax <br />purposes with Parcel B as described in that same survey. <br />2. Likewise, the owner of Parcel C shall apply to the City for legal <br />combination for tax purposes with Parcel D. <br />3. The aforesaid division as shown on the attached Certificate of <br />Survey shall be filed by the City of Orono with the Hennepin County <br />Recorder's Office on or befc.e June 12, 1989 together with a certified <br />original copy of this Pesolution. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
