Gaffron, 0fY 4iCc OGONO <br />As5ist`i.% Planning & Zoning Administrator <br />DATE: January :'., 1987 <br />SOBJ: Zoning ant - Performance Standards for Non- <br />Renta'_/G. .,•.tments within Principal Residences - <br />Ordinancu <br />List of Exhibits - <br />A - Proposed Ordinance <br />B - Planning Commission Minutes of Public Hearing <br />held 11-17-86 <br />C - Staff Memo and Exhibits 11-13 <br />At the Public Hearing held 11-17-86, Planning Commission gave <br />general direction to staff as follows: <br />a) Non -rental guest apartments should be treated under <br />conditional use section. <br />b) Guast apartments within residences should not be obvious, <br />and should not give the _ppearance of a duplex type of <br />occupancy i.e. should not be so intrusive as to be out of <br />character with the neighborhood. <br />c) Guest apartments need not necessarily be solely <br />accessible from inside the residence.
