- 4 - <br />Other Matters Affecting the Interests of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District <br /> <br />The Board of Directors is not aware of any other material matters affecting the District's interests that <br />warrant disclosure. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion of the Directors' Intentions for the Succeeding Years <br /> <br />The Board of Directors will continue to be mindful of non-herbicide control methods permitted by the <br />Department of Natural Resources and compatible with the project's objectives, scale, and time <br />constraints. <br /> <br />The Directors will continue to keep watch for a viable course of action permitted by the Department of <br />Natural Resources that effectively manages invasive aquatic animal species, such as carp, zebra <br />mussels, and other organisms, and is compatible with the project’s objectives, scale, and time constraints. <br /> <br />The Directors will continue to encourage property owner participation on the Board and at meetings, <br />educate property owners about the native plant community and the DNR’s Invasive Aquatic Plant <br />Management Program, and encourage owners to subscribe to NotifyMe® for notifications of treatments, <br />documents, and meetings. <br /> <br />
