Time Table for Sale cf Liquor Store <br />ISSUE - Adoption of approximate time table for sale of liquor <br />store to be sold no later than May 30, 1987. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's December 8, 1986 meeting they <br />directed staff to develop the plan for disposition of the liquor <br />store. Attachment A contains a timetable of items to be <br />undertaken before the sale. It has been initially indicated by <br />our City Attorney that this will prob: i y have to be done on a <br />bid basis. To date there has been inter -st expressed in either <br />the purchase of the liquor store or a license in general by <br />approximately 12 parties. One of the initial steps in <br />undertaking the transition will be review and adoption of the <br />liquor ordinance to be effective upon disposition of the store. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council adopt this as <br />the guideline time table for sale of store to be sold no later <br />than May 30, 1987. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by , to aceepL staff <br />recommendation for a time table in which to dispose of the liquor <br />store by May 30, 1987.
