January /,1987 <br />ORONO C I TY CIOUNC 11. <br />ORONO, MN <br />Attention: Jeanne Mabusth <br />Dear Jeanne: <br />With apologies for my delay in getting my background to you, <br />I am pleased to put my name forward as a volunteer for Planning <br />Commission activity. <br />PERSONAL: <br />Happily married with five children ( four boys, one girl ... one <br />married, four in college) and living at 2205 Bayview Place, <br />Navarre since 1983. My wife, Barbara, has lived there since <br />1960. <br />Graduated from V i I i anova University, V i l l anova, PA in 1958 with <br />a Bachelor of Arts degree in Historyy; completed ( pre -children) <br />some graduate work in Theatre at Vi l lanova. <br />Born in New York, 50 years ago, and moved by choice to <br />Minnesota and Minneapolis in 1980. <br />PROFESSIONAL: <br />All career work has been in Sales and Marketing including the <br />last dozen years as a Strategic Planner and Marketing consultant <br />for companies throughout the United States. <br />Am currently the owner and President of Phone Force Marketing, <br />a distributor of home and small business telephone equipment <br />through its own network of small Dealers in rural counties of <br />states across the country. The Navarre office is the <br />headquarters office. <br />PASTIME: <br />Family, writing, reading, puttering around, sailing, tennis, etc. <br />There is no way I can claim any fantastic skills for the Planning <br />Commission; in their absence, however, I offer my business <br />planning experience, dependability, enthusiasm and abiding con- <br />viction -to give some of myself back to my community in an <br />appropriate way. <br />To that end, I openly volunteer to be of assistance if needed. <br />1' 05ince e , <br />I )N11 <br />+4jh' VV <br />Clement V.
