Letters of Intent <br />ISSUE - Appointment of individuals to fill vacancies on the <br />Planning and Park Commissions. <br />INTRODUCTION - The staff has placed in the four local newspapers <br />together w_ith sending letters regarding the vacancies to Park <br />Commissioners and individuals on the Planning Commission who's <br />appointment is up. Attachment A are the letters of the <br />individuals who have indicated an interest. They are as follows: <br />Planning Commission <br />Curtis Quady <br />James C. Ber& <br />Lee E. Schacht <br />Jeffrey Johnson <br />Edward M. Cohen <br />Gail Livingston <br />Jorja Lynn <br />Carol Moore Trapp <br />Clement F. Birch, Jr. <br />Park Commission <br />Bruce Kokal <br />Ronald C. Anderson <br />Lee Erger <br />There are currently three vacancies on the Planning Commission <br />and two vacancies on the Park Commission with Lee Erger on the <br />Park Commission being the only "incumbent" indicating an interest <br />in re -appointment. <br />Staff requested all those interested in Planning Commmission to <br />il be avaable at 8:30- _and those for Park Commission at 8_45 P.M. <br />RECOMMENDATION_ — It is staff's recommendation that based on <br />resumes and following interviews by the Council that appointments <br />be madeat the February 9, 1987 meeting. <br />PROPOSED MOTION — Moved by , seconded by _, that +he Council <br />make appointments to both the Park �:nd Planning Commissions from <br />the names listed above at its February 9, 1987 meeting.
