.� o�. <br /> • � � � <br /> ��6. � CITY of ORONO <br /> � � <br /> �,� G'� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��ESH�4��' NO. � � Q� � -� <br /> or difficulty; is necessary to preserve a substantial property right of the applicant; <br /> and would be in keeping with the spirit and intent of the Zoning Code and <br /> Comprehensive Plan of the City. . <br /> 9.� The City Council fmds that granting a conditional use permit for the identification <br /> sign will not be detrimental to the health, safery or general welfare of the public, <br /> would not adversely affect light, air nor pose a fire hazard or other danger to <br /> neighboring property, nor will its use depreciate surrounding property values and <br /> that the proposed level of use of the property will be in keeping with the intent and <br /> objectives of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br /> 10. . The City Council has considered this application including the fmdings and <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission, reports by City staff, comments by <br /> the applicants and the effect of the proposed variance on the health, safety and <br /> welfare of the communiry. � <br /> � CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br /> Based upon one or more of the above findings, the Orono City Council hereby <br /> ;rants a variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.61, Subdivision 2 to permit a 32 s.f. <br /> identification sign where 12 s.f. is pemutted; and Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.28, <br /> Subdivision 3 to permit a church use on the properry in the RR-1B zoning district. Approval is <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. The Ciry reserves its right to recall or reconsider the conditional use pemut as it <br /> relates to additional parking needs or future paving improvements. <br /> . 2. Any change or more intense use of the property will require an amendment to the <br /> conditional use permit. <br /> 3. A conditional use permit shall remain in effect as long as the conditions agreed <br /> upon are observed, and the use does not cease for a period of more than 6 months. <br /> If the use of the property as a church would cease for a period of 6 months a new <br /> conditional use permit is required.
