You said you were not aware of that. He said the <br />matter had fallen through the cracks in connection with M:,. Van Zom6rcn leaving. <br />l then relayed to you that: according to Mr. Weinberger the St.ate had no objection to our <br />request saying it was up to the municipality; I took that as encouraging, but :tvlr. Weinberger had <br />said it was doubtful the City would approve it because of "the liability issue"; I had r~rninded <br />him that for all intent,;; and purposes tbe City would have no liability exposure because nothing <br />would have changed on the property, -0nly on a map, and w~ had a!Natly submitt~d draft <br />documents indemnifying the City in the event of such a Lo:,s. You indicated you would talk with <br />Mr. Weinberger and get back to me. <br />Please let me know what you have learned.
