' <br />" <br />CITY OF ORONO -NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold Public Hearings in the Council Chambers <br />at 1275 South Brown Road on Monday, November 16, 1992 to review the <br />following subdivision and related land use applications: <br />1. 8:00 p.m. <br />2. , 8:30 p.m. <br />3. 9:00 p.m. <br />#1778 & #1779 Andrew Goetten of 1385 Fox Street seeks <br />approval of a 2-lot residential subdivision and lot <br />area variance for one of the proposed lots that does <br />not meet the required 2 acre standard. <br />#1780 Th~ City of Orono seeks approval of a <br />residential subdivision consisting of two residential <br />lots and a wilderness park area of the property located <br />at 1000 Old Crystal Bay Road. <br />#1785 David Carlson proposes a residential subdivision <br />of a lot line rearrangement involving properties <br />located at 600 Big Island (formerly Record Lot 60), 610 <br />Big Island (formerly Record Lot 34) and 620 Big Island <br />(formerly Record Lot 28). The subdivision also <br />proposes the creation of an easement for the purpose of <br />sharing in the use of a septic system involving <br />properties at 610 and 620 Big Island. <br />This ~omprehensive subdivision application also <br />includes Applications 1781, 1782, 1783 and 1784 <br />consisting of variances and conditional use permits <br />involving 610 and 620 Big Island. The applicant, David <br />Carlson, proposes the removal of existing cabins and <br />replacing with new structures requiring variances to <br />the average lakeshore setback line and for land <br />alterations within the flood fringe district in <br />addition to a conditional use permit for these land <br />alterations. <br />The Planning Commission will also hold public hearings to review the <br />· following land use applications: <br />4. #1777 John Thiesse of 3845 Bayside Road seeks approval of side and <br />street setback variances and hardcover variance within the 75-250' <br />setback area for the proposed construction of a second story over the <br />existing single story principal structure. <br />5. <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />#1786 William and Rhonda Omlie of 1860 Shadywood Road have filed a <br />conditional use permit for land alterations in excess of the allowed <br />100 cubic yards in order to complete certain paving improvements. <br />All persons wishing to be heard will appear at this meeting. <br />comments are solicited.
