1.12686. 5 <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Clark Bernhardson, City Administrator �`-� 81986 <br />DATE: <br />November <br />26, 1986. <br />�� <br />y <br />V®1�(J � <br />SUBJECT: <br />Insurance <br />Renewals <br />Attachments: A. 1986 Insurance Renewals Dated 12/20/85 <br />ISSUE - Adoption of premiums renewals for 1987 effective 1 <br />January, 1987. <br />DISCUSSION - Attached is outlined by line the insurance renewal <br />premiums comparing present 1986 to 1987. <br />The total of all the lines equal the amount budgeted for 1987. <br />It should be noted that the City has to renew its liquor <br />insurance liability for the entire year and will attempt to <br />recoup money under the "short form" cancellation at the point <br />that it closes down the liquor store. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the City adopt the <br />policies awarded through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance <br />Trust as outline above. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _ , seconded by , that the City <br />Council of the City of Orono adopt the above listed renewals <br />through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust for the <br />policy year 1987 commencing on January 1, 1987.
