Faus : <br />RECEIVED <br />MAR 2 1 2005 <br />CITY O F ORON O <br />The Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) has approved your permanent dock <br />license application for your proposed permanent dock located at 550 Big Island, in the City of <br />Orono , on Echo Bay . Additionally, your permanent dock has been approved in accordance <br />with MN DNR General Permit 97-6098. Approval from the LMCD does not absolve you from <br />the need to secure all necessary permits or approvals from other governmental agencies. <br />The proposed dock , as located on the site plans received January 7 & 28 , 2005 is within your <br />authorized dock use area and meets LMCD Code requirements. When construction has been <br />completed , please contact the LMCD office to schedule a dock inspection . <br />If the size, location , or configuration of the dock is changed in the future , a new permanent <br />dock license application will be required . A new permanent dock license is not required for <br />repa ir or replacement if it does not alter the size, type, location, or configuration of the dock. <br />Although Tom Niccum has indicated you will not deice your site , if you choose to deice around <br />the dock prior to March 15 of each winter , a separate LMCD deicing permit is annually <br />required . Currently there is a moratorium on the issuance of new deicing permits . The dock <br />and deicing activity is subject to current and future LMCD regulations .
