ADDENDUM A <br />TO DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST <br />GENERAL LAND USE APPLICATION <br />BIG ISLAND, INC. <br />The hardcover and set back variance hereby requested for a <br />deck/dock within the lake shore protected area. The deck/dock <br />measures approximately 60' long by 12 1/2' wide. It is situated at <br />the base of a steep hill and serves as a platform for stairs <br />leading up to the useable portion of the property which is situated <br />approximately 15-20' above the lake level. The deck/dock is also <br />used as the base to extend docks for boats and used to allow <br />parents to observe children swimming and to put towels, chairs and <br />other beach equipment. Due to the geographical characteristics of <br />a large rock shoreline, extremely steep bank, the deck/dock allows <br />for a use of the shoreline for swimming, sunning, picnicking and <br />observing children at the lake level. <br />7936.301
