a. /�--� <br /> >> � o� <br /> • o 0 <br /> ��b. - . �CITY of ORON4 , <br /> � � <br /> '� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �l`9.kE p4�'G . � � NO. 4 � � � • <br /> � �SK � <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES � <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE � <br /> SECTIONS 10.22; SUBDIVISION 2 � <br /> SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6(B), AND � <br /> SECTION 10.56, SUBDIVISION 16 (L)(2) <br /> FILE NO. 2564 � <br /> WHEREAS,William Dampier and Joan Irma Dampier(hereinafter"the applicants") <br /> are owner of the property located at 3550 Ivy Place within the City of Orono(hereinafter"the City") , <br /> and legally described as follows: � <br /> Lot 173,Taylor's Subdivision of Spring Park Lots,Hennepin County,Minnesota(hereinafter <br /> "the property"); and <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to.the City for a variance to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.25, Subd. 6(B)to permit the construction of a second story addition above <br /> the existing 1-1/2 sCory residence,such addition to be located 2.9'from the north side lot line where <br /> a 10' setback is normally required; and a variance to Sections 10.22, Subdivision 2 and 10.56, <br /> Subdivision 16(L)(2)to allow 4,468.7 s.f.(48.9%)hardcover in the 75-250'setback area where only <br /> 2,282.5 s.£ (25%) is normally allowed and 5,061.7 s.f. (57.9%) exists for the construction of a 2- <br /> story room addition constituting additional hardcover not currently existing on the properly; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> _ Commission held a public hearing on June 19,2000, at which time all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#2564. <br /> 2. This properly is located in the LR-1 C Zoning District,where .5 acre or 21,780 s.f.is <br /> the minimum lot area.
