Pronosed Flow Rate <br />3 bedrooms C' 150 gallons per day(GPD) per bedroom = 450 GPD. <br />3. Soil Treatment Area Required <br />For a percolation rate betwe,3n 16-10 MPI a factor of 1,67 is used. <br />4�0 GPD x 1.67 = 750 sq.ft. of treatment area minimum. <br />4. Size and Number of 'Trenches <br />4 trenches 2.5 feet wide and 75 feet long would yield 750 sq.ft. <br />of soil treatment area. Trenches 2.5 feet wide would be spaced a <br />minimum of 7 feit center to center. <br />5. Drainfield Rock Required <br />For 750 sq.ft. of drainfiel.d and 12 inches of rock below and 2 <br />inches of rock over a 4 inch distribution pipe 41.7 cubic yards <br />of rock or 5&.4 this are needed. <br />6. Sentic Tanks <br />Two septic tan:s each of 1000 gallon capacity are to be used with <br />the drainfield system. <br />
