that Mr. Bruntjen. in his affiliation with Big Island Properties. is a contract for deed vendee on Parcel 3. I have enclosed herewith a copy of a condition of title for Certificate of Title No. 457005. which shows your respective ownership interests in Parcel 3. The location of Parcel 3 is also indicated on the enclosed survey. Despite the fact that Mr. Mccloud owns Parcel 2. and the two of you own the legal and equitable title to Parcel 3. Parcels 2 and 3 are still combined for tax purposes according to the Hennepin County Tax Rolls and are both included on Mr. McCloud 1 s tax statement. In essence. Mr. Mccloud has been paying real estate taxes for both Parcels 2 and 3 for the last six years even though he does not own Parcel 3. Mr. Mccloud has been contacted by the City of Orono and has been directed to finalize the division of Parcels 2 and 3 for tax purposes so that this matter may be resolved. Evidently. the process to divide these parcels was commenced many years ago but was n e ve r co mp l e t e d . The City has further informed Mr. Mccloud that both of you must Join in the same application procedure to complete this division. I have enclosed herewith an application form for each of you to sign and return to my office. Upon receipt of each of your fully exec~ted applications. I will file them along with Mr. McCloud's with the City of Orono. Accordingly. I would appreciate it if each of you would return the enclosed application to my office in the self-addressed stamped envelope enclosed herewith as soon as possible so that we may abide by the City's direction to finalize this matter.
