MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD AUGUST 18, 1966 <br />i1059 WORK CONTINUED <br />Bellows stated that she had sympathy with the hjork <br />family however she failed to find a hardsh.p involved <br />other than financial. She feels that this property <br />could be sold with a mother-in-law apartment. <br />Goetten noted that the city is looking at an amendment <br />regarding duplex use. She also noted the fact that <br />this property has been assessed 2 sewer and 2 water <br />units. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth stated that the property <br />has only 1 meter. <br />No one was present from the public regarding this matter <br />and the public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Bellows, secon :d by Chairman Kelley, to <br />recommend denial of the use of this structure as a <br />duplex, unit based on the fact that the owners have been <br />on notice for the last ten years that this is not to be <br />used as a rental or duplex init. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays <br />2. Goetten and Hanson voted nay stating that staff <br />should review possible legal remedies that may be <br />available. <br />Applicant was advised to work with staff on this problem <br />before bc.`ng heard by the Council. <br />�l6j.F.
