Mon <br />The Municipal State Aid (MSA) street system should be updated as discussed. <br />The removal of MSA street designation on County State Aid Highways is desir- <br />able as well as development of a 5 year capital improvement program. <br />The State Aid office has changed the policy on County State Aid Streets. The <br />change allows counties to collect needs on the entire roadway rather than just <br />on the center 24 feet as occurred in the past. Therefore, the City can no <br />longer collect needs on county roads. <br />The City presently has 3.89 miles of County Municipal State Aid streets and <br />2.24 miles of undesignated mileage. There is a total of 6.13 miles to be des- <br />ignated. The streets which are designated must connect to another MSA street, <br />a trunk highway or a County State Aid highway. <br />We would recommend the following roadway segments be considered for placement <br />on the system: <br />Watertown Road - McCulley Rd, to Willow Dr. <br />Stubbs Bay Road - T.H. 12 to Baysi.de Road <br />Fox Street - Old Crystal Bay Road to Willow Dr. <br />Fox Street - Orono Orchard Road to Brown Road) <br />Orono Orchard Road - Fox Street to Co. Rd. 15) <br />Brown Road - T.H. 12 to Co. Rd. 6 <br />*North Ferndale - Co.
