r �r <br /> ....++. . . <br /> i� <br /> , % �� <br /> • o o �- <br /> ��b. - CITY of ORONO <br /> � � � <br /> ti <br /> �� �'ti RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��kES�I�4�' NO. /�. � � � <br /> � <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> ESTABLISHING THE ROAD NAME <br /> "TONKAVIEW COURT" <br /> WITHIN THE PLAT OF <br /> BERGQUIST AND WICKLUNDS PARK <br /> AND ASSIG1vING NEW ADDRESSES . � <br /> TO CERTAIN ABUTTING PROPERTIES <br /> WI�REAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the <br /> laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, Orono Municipal Code Section 6.40 authorizes the City Council to assign <br /> street names and assign street numbers according to the standard numbering plan adopted by the <br /> City; and <br /> � WHEREAS, within the plat of Bergquist and Wicklund's Park, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota, is a dedicated roadway system,portions of which have been previously vacated; and <br /> `VHEREAS,the portion of said roadway system which is the subject of this Resolution is <br /> described as: <br /> The non-vacated portion of dedicated"Park Avenue" located between Blocks 2 and <br /> 3,Bergquist and Wicklund's Park,and the non-vacated portion of dedicated"Adams <br /> Street" located between Blocks 1 and 2, Bergquist and Wicklund's Park <br /> (hereinafter"the alley"); and <br /> WHEREAS,the alley provides the only vehicular access for a number of abutting properties, <br /> • and the alley is and will continue to be privately maintained by the owners of those properties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to assign a new street name to the alley and assign <br /> addresses to abutting properties using the alley as their primary access per the City's standard <br /> sequential numbering plan, in order to provide for efficient delivery of emergency services and to <br /> eliminate public confusion in identifying and locating said properties. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono,Minnesota,that <br /> � the privately maintained alley herein described shall be henceforth known as "Tonkaview Court", <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> 1 <br />
