'�� � � � � <br /> WHEREAS,Charles Kelley has served this community with distinction for <br /> many years in numerous capacities including eight years as a member of the City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS,his years of service have been mazked by exemplary dedication <br /> ' to the best interests of the community; and � <br /> VV�iEREAS, he has earned the admiration and high regard of those with - <br /> whom he has worked; and <br /> WHEREAS,the performance of his duties and responsibilities as a member <br /> of the City Council has been characterized by excellent and constructive <br /> contributions to the community, and <br /> • WHEREAS,he is retiring from his position as City Council Member after <br /> serving two terms. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br /> City of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Charles <br /> Kelley for his distinguished service to the community and does also highly commend <br /> him for the manner in which he has carried out his duties and responsibilities. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Council extends to him best <br /> wishes for continued success in his future endeavors,and encourages him to remain <br /> active in the community. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono,Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br /> this 8th day of January, 2001. : � � � <br /> .
