Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Phone (952) 249-4600 Fax (952) 249-4616 <br />NOTICE <br />The Orono Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Orono Council Chambers at <br />2780 Kelley Parkway on Monday, July 15, 2013, beginning at 6 :30 p .m. on the matter of <br />reviewing the following land use applications : <br />13-3611 Mark Sanderson, on behalf of Revis & Meghan Stephenson , 1850 Fox Ridge Road, <br />RR-1 B zoning district, requests front yard and side yard setback variances to <br />construct a two-story garage addition less than 30 feet from the side lot line and less <br />than 50 feet from the front lot line as required; and a front porch addition on the <br />existing home less than 50 feet from the front lot line as required. <br />13-3612 Dale Gustafson on behalf of John & Barbara Corness, 4395 North Shore Drive, <br />LR-1 B zoning district, requests a conditional use permit and hardcover variance in <br />order to construct a new meandering lake access stair resulting in minor changes in <br />grade and 122 square feet of additional hardcover over the existing deteriorating <br />wooden stair. <br />13-3613 Gabriel Jabbour, 430, 440 & 450 Big Island, RS zoning district, requests subdivision <br />approval for a lot line rearrangement in order to rearrange the lot lines resulting in the <br />combination of three existing record lots into two lots of record on Big Island . <br />13-3614 Fred Johnson , applicant, has an interest in the property owned by Patricia Pfeffer at <br />1565 Orchard Beach Place, LR-1 B zoning district, and requests variances for lot <br />area, lot width , rear setback, side street setback and average lakeshore setback in <br />order to construct a single family residence on this 0.22 acre , 83' wide lakeshore lot <br />where a lot area of 1.0 acre and lot width of 140' are required. The proposal may also <br />require a conditional use permit for grading within the 0-75 ' lakeshore setback zone. <br />13-3616 City of Orono proposes amendments to Orono Zoning Code Chapter 78 regarding <br />provisions and standards for alternative energy systems. <br />All persons wishing to be heard are encouraged to attend these meetings. This is not a final <br />agenda and is subject to change prior to the hearings. Written comments are accepted and <br />should be submitted to the City of Orono by July 9 , 2013 if possible. Interested persons may <br />review the applications at City offices .
