On February 191 <br />\ 1998, <br />the field crew tried to get across to Big Island from the City of Excelsior but ran into <br />open water about half way and had to turn around. Unfortunately, the survey will have <br />to be postponed until the lake is ice free. We will proceed with the survey at that time. <br />I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
