C�t� o� ORONO <br /> d � <br /> • RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL � <br /> , <br /> � s�� <br /> ,��: : NO. 1488 <br /> ,� <br /> �� P��'.,.�-,��y; <br /> • ' •� •, <br /> - �-:�;�,�.��;ti�<: � RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES FOR THE CITY OF ORONO TO <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR CON.SIDER.ATION AS PART OF THE <br /> YEAR IX URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY- COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HOUSING <br /> AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 , AS AMENDED <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono has executed a cooperative <br /> agreement with Hennepin County agre.eing to participate in the Urban <br /> Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has develop�d a proposal for the use of <br /> Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds made available �o it; and <br /> 'v7FiEREaS, �he pro�o�.�d use. of Community Development /Block <br /> Grant funds by �the City has been developed consistent with the Urban <br /> Hennepin County S'ca-cement of Objectives and the Fiousing and Community <br /> Development Act of 1374; as amended, and <br /> • " WHEREAS, the proposed use of Commu�iity Development Block <br /> Grant funds was developed in co�p��ration with local citizens and the <br /> � appropriate Urban Hennepin County i�lanning Area Citizen Advisory , <br /> Committee. . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> , City of Orono approves the proposed program for use of Year IX Urban :. <br /> Hennepin County Community D�velopment Block Grant funds . by the City <br /> and authorizes submittal of the proposal to Hennepin County for <br /> consideration for inclusion in the Year� IX Urban Hennepin County . <br /> Community Development Block Grant Statement of Objectives and Projected <br /> Use of Funds, as follows: <br /> 1) Westonka Senior Housing $30 ,000 <br /> 2) Housing Rehabilitation $ 7, 442 <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular <br /> meeting held May 23 , 1983. <br /> . � <br /> Mary C. ler, Mayor <br /> Attest:_ � �J. <br /> • Alberta M.
