Date: January 12, 2026 Item: 5 <br />Presenter: Christine Lusian, City Clerk <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Title: Annual Appointments - Resolution 7656 <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />Appoint city officials and duties. <br />2.Background: <br />The framework of services we provide is directed by a law or rule and tends to be cyclical and <br />predictable. Cities are required by laws and other authorities to complete certain tasks ahead of <br />specific deadlines. The League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) provides a calendar of important dates <br />as an easy to follow guide. <br /> <br />Tasks include formally and publicly assigning city officials to groups that steer the direction, <br />vision, and goals of the city, like commissions, boards, committees.
