m
CITY of ORONO
Post O(Bn• Boa GG•CrYetel B.,, Mi...W 5r53 ). M..j,j el O ficn
On the North Shore of i ake Minnetonka
April 30, 1986
Mr. James Kelly
Spring Hill Conference Center
725 Sixth Avenue North
P.O. 288
Wayzata, MN 55391
Dear Jim,
As you are probably aware Rolf Erickson and Dave Wilde, who
provide assessing services for the City of Orono on a contract
basis, have done an appraisal of Spring Hill properties as
required every six years for all tax exempt F p(-ties. That
valuation yielded a total valuation of 3.18 milAion .jllars for
the five parcels that are registered to Spring Hill. These break
down as follows:
P.I.D.
Acres
Valuation
1.
25-118-23
sl
0002
16.83
134,609
2.
25-118-23
33.0001
23.65
239,200
3.
25-118-23
33
0002
21.44
2,536,200
4.
26-118-23
41
0002
8.80
70,400
5.
26-118-23
44
0004
25.33
202,600
TOTALS
96.05
3,183,000
You are aware the first, fourth and fifth parcels have not
been included in the •calculation• for determining a voluntary
contribution for Spring Hill. Attachment 41 lists what that
voluntary contribution would be listing all five parcels. The
second column lists what that value would be for the two parcels
that have utilizied in the past.
It is our understanding however, that parcels four and five
were in the past taxable and that based on a petition filed on
behalf of Spring Hill on May 16, 1985 these parcels were declared
tax exempt, with parcel one exempt since 19BO.
SUILDINGA ZONING-tlY73S7 • ADMINISTRATION A FINANCE -tl]735S • eURI It WORKS -V3-7359
ASSESSING
