8486.1 <br />AUG 111986 <br />TO: Mayor and City Council Al r OF P4 ANO <br />FROM: Mark Sernhardson, City Administrato Z� <br />DATE: August 4, 1986 <br />SUBJECT: Strategic Planning Meeting <br />As directed at your Council meeting in May 7, 1986 staff would <br />like to establish a meeting date to spend about 2 hours with the <br />Council to do some strategic planning and goal setting for the up <br />coming year. This will constitute a review of goals and <br />objectives established by staff and any amendment thereto <br />together with that of the Administrator's goals and objectives <br />and any additional goals and objectives that Council would like <br />to work toward. Given the Highway 12 meeting on September 3 and <br />the Budget meeting of September 17 it is suggested that a date <br />the week of October 6th would be appropriate. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by , to establish <br />October , 1986 as the meeting date for the Council to undertake <br />strategic planning process in advance of the 1987 budget.
