To the City Council <br />May 28, 1986 <br />Deferred Compensation <br />Currently, information on the deferred compensation plans for City <br />employees is disclosed in the notes to the financial statements. You <br />should be aware that new accounting riles will require such plans be <br />accounted for in an agency fund in ; s6. <br />Payroll Benefits <br />We understand that Administration intends to review the City's method of <br />accounting for and funding payroll benefits, such as vacation, sick <br />leave, and health insurance. We would be happy to assist with this <br />matter. <br />Graphic Information <br />We utilize microcomputers to a considerable extent in performing audits <br />for our City clients. One of the beneficial results is trend analysis <br />and analytical relationships. We nave included the following generalized <br />graphs produced from our electronic worksheets, which we thought might be <br />of interest to you, even though some of the same information is reflected <br />in the various schedules of the City's financial statements. Some of the <br />data included has not been auditod by us. <br />
