MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL. MEETING HP.I.D MARCH 10, 1986 <br />SPECIAL EVENTS• <br />ORDINANCE 122 SECOND SERIES <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, that the City Council adopt <br />Ordinance #22 Second Series as amendmments to Ordinance <br />Numbers 5.25 and 6.08. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />WOLSFELD fii00DS* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, that Council direct staff to write <br />a letter supporting location of a caretaker in the <br />location most advantageous for that person to monitor <br />activities in and around Wolsfeld Woods. Motion, Ayes <br />3, Nays 0. <br />1986 POLICE/:,ELS CONTRACT* <br />It was moved bl Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, that the City Council accept the <br />settlement terms for 19F6 contract between the City of <br />Orono and Law Enforcement Labor Services. Motion, Ayes <br />3, Nays 0. <br />1986 HEALTH CONTRIBUTION* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, to adjust the amount for basic <br />life insurance and for family health insurance coverage <br />from $146 per month to $151 per month retroactive to <br />January 1, 1986. Motion, Ay•^s 3, Nays 0. <br />CATASTROPHIC SICK LEAVE BANK* <br />It was moved by CouncilmemLer Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, that the Council amended the <br />policy for sick leave to include a bank for accrual of <br />up to 320 additional hours (fo.r use in catastrophic <br />instances) when a person amasses more than 960 hours and <br />that staff prepare the appropriate amendment to the <br />Administrati— a and Personnel Policy effective January 1, <br />1986. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />STUBBS BAY SCHOOL <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, that the City Council express its <br />gratitude to Ka*herine Cram for her off of Stubbs Bay <br />School, but given the fact that the C need to move <br />together with the expense of fixing up aA the fact that <br />the City does not have a strong use for it, that the <br />City respectfully decline the offer.
